Ron and Joyce wrote that they have enjoyed playing pickleball on many Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday's. They are well and enjoying their summer with their children and grandchildren. They spent the 4th of July with Joyce's sisters Diane & Bob, Melanie & Kim, at their daughter Lynn's lake home in Wisconsin. In all there were about 50 which included many cousins, nieces and nephews. They had a great time boating, swimming, playing pickleball and eating too much, besides plenty of fireworks to please all the children and adults. Sounds like a weekend we would all enjoy!
Don and Alyce wrote that they have been enjoying their time in WA State. Alyce enjoys playing the piano and Don works on home improvement projects. It's nice that they were able help Fuz celebrate his ___th birthday (along with many other Sun Village Pickleball Club members) in Vancouver, WA. I bet that was a BIG BASH! They also enjoyed a visit from Jerry & Joy. It must also be fun to have Fred & Jan live in their nearby cabin. Other summer joys: they have a aquired two new great-grandsons, a great daughter- in-law, and witnessed a grandaughters' wedding.
Isn't it fun to hear what our friends are doing? Well, I have been in CO for a few weeks, mainly to help mom celebrate her birthday, but also to enjoy Colorful Colorado scenery and weather & to avoid some of Arizona's heat; however, I'm going back next week.
